BIGmart is one of the largest hypermarket and supermarket chains in the UAE. The brand was launched in the region in 2007 as a family business, aiming to provide a new dimension to customers in the grocery shopping industry. Today, BIGmart is an entity of Emirates Madina Holding company, whose portfolio is diversified into Retail, Wholesale, Information Technology, Restaurants, Cafes and Shopping malls.
In 2007, BIGmart opened its first hypermarket in ICAD Residential City, Abu Dhabi and through the years has expanded to over 35 stores in UAE, Oman, and India. The company is a key contributor to the economy of the UAE with an annual turnover of more than AED350 million. Today, BIGmart’s family has grown to over 5000 people from 15 people in 2007.
BIGmart operates its daily needs stores under the name of DAYmart, offering customers easy access to high grade goods and services from their homes. BIGmart emphasizes on serving high grade products and services to its customers, ensuring maximum value and satisfaction for our customers.
